Feeling lost, alone, rejected and afraid that you will never be enough. You spend so much time trying to be who others expect you to be, or even who you think you should be, that it is exhausting. You've tried using the same old ways of dealing with trauma or difficult relationships, but it is not working anymore. Sometimes you just want to give up. Reaching out for help is courageous and I would love to help you on this journey of finding a sense of stability and identity.
You want to have relationships where you feel confident and comfortable.You want to be able to express your needs.....actually knowing what they are. You want to be in a place where you can breathe and have a sense of wholeness and acceptance. If you are a female in late adolescence through adulthood trying to make meaning of your past experiences and are ready to stop feeling like you are wearing a mask so you can start living out of who you were created to be, let's start that journey together.
One additional approach you may have heard of before, but may not be certain about is hypnosis. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and use hypnosis to work with phobias, anxiety, smoking cessation, weight loss, pain relief, and difficulty sleeping. We will not be doing what you may have seen on T.V. where people think they are animals or get stuck in a hypnotic state. Hypnosis is an effective tool because it allows you to relax those racing thoughts and relax that anxious brain so the subconsious mind can take in positive, healthy, effective suggestions you desire for yourself and your future. The great thing is, you are in control because your mind is amazing at taking care of you. We work together at figuring out what you want and practicing guided meditations to support that, so those old habits can get out of the way.
